Golem Grad, also known as Snake Island, is a mesmerizing gem nestled in the Macedonian part of Lake Prespa. This enchanting island exudes an unparalleled beauty that captivates all who set foot upon its shores. We are glad to arrange private boat trips to the island under the condition that it is booked at least 2 days in advance (very limited capacity and availability), given that the weather conditions are suitable (calm and warm enough).
Price per boat trip for departure from the village of Stenje: 120 eur
Price per boat trip for departure from the village of Konjsko: 80 eur
(please note that the last section of the road between Stenje and Konjsko is dirt road and requires careful driving)
The maximum capacity is 4 people per boat (please inquire if your group is bigger)
Meeting point: Village of Konjsko or village of Stenje
Tour start: 9am-10am (to be confirmed before departure; depends on weather conditions) (Guests of Villa Prespa need 1 hour drive to Stenje / 1.5 hours drive to Konjsko)
Duration of the boat trip:
– departures from Stenje to the island (boat ride is cca 40-50 min in one direction; 1-1.5 hours are spent on the island)
– departures from Konjsko to the island (boat ride is cca 20-30mins in one direction; 1-1.5 hours are spent on the island)
Included:
– Return private boat transfer from village of Stenje or village of Konjsko to Golem Grad island
– Walk around the island with the skipper (important info: Please bear in mind that the skippers are not tour guides, and most of them are not fluent in English, their primary role is safe boat transport to/from the island)

– National park Galicica entrance fees (300 mkd per person; must be paid online in advance at the national park web shop and be ready for inspection by national park rangers)
